Do you have a Mexican style interior? Do you serve in the restaurant dishes heavily spiced with Tabasco sauce and serve customers Tequila? This plant is right for you. Yucca Baccata (Banana) is a wide plant, so it need more space.
It comes from the desert areas south-western United States and northwestern Mexico. Occurs from south-eastern California, north to Utah, East to West Texas and South to Chihuahua and Sonora in Mexico.
Usually grows at altitudes up to 2500 m asl It is one of the most yuccas frost-proof, resistant to extreme weather conditions while providing very low humidity (necessary protection against moisture).
Banana (Baccata) Yucca name comes from the shape of the edible fruit, which in part resemble the shape of bananas and were once a source of food of the local population.
It has a rigid leaves of growing up to more than 75 cm in length, with characteristic fiber. It prefers well-drained ground, quite dry. The plant needs very little water – with an excessive amount of supplied water begins to rot and dry. Plants planted in the ground are self-contained, you do not need to water them.

We wanted to give a “garden” vibe to the place, with a lot of green almost everywhere. The cafe has a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes so the “green” touch was an agreement since the beginning. We already knew the quality of the Floresy plants so we thought that would be a good fit for us. We had a clear idea of which kind of plants we wanted, but Katarzyna helped us with some suggestions
